Repairs and renovation in Paris
Our workshop is on rue d’Avron, in the 20th arrondissement. We work across Paris, with a close knowledge of the older buildings in the east of the city.
Much of the Paris housing stock predates the war. Waste stacks are often original, supply pipes have been patched in stages over the decades, and consumer units sometimes still carry protection from another era. Being able to read that build-up avoids taking apart what does not need to come apart.
In a block of flats, the boundary between private and communal parts determines who pays for what. We establish that at the first visit, and provide what is needed if the managing agent or an insurer has to be involved.
Paris constraints are part of the job: access, lifts, the hours permitted by the building’s rules, and clearing waste. We build them into the schedule rather than discovering them on day one.
