Our story
A family business, two generations.
Société Gafsou was founded on 1 October 1970. More than fifty years on, it is still a family business, and still based in eastern Paris.
1970
The beginning
The business opened on 1 October 1970. It started with repair work: answer quickly, fix properly, come back if needed. That way of working has never changed.
Passing it on
Two generations have run the business in turn. The know-how was passed on on site, not in manuals: that is what makes it possible today to recognise a problem before opening anything up.
Aujourd’hui
From repairs to renovation
Over the years, call-outs led to larger jobs: a bathroom, then a whole flat. The business now carries out complete renovations, while still answering the everyday repairs.

What matters to us
Answering
A phone that gets answered and a reply the same day are worth more than a promise of immediate call-out that nobody can keep.
Being straight
If a job is not necessary, we say so. If a job needs more time than expected, we say that too.
Finishing
A job is not finished when the technical side works: it is finished when the detailing is clean and the home is handed back tidy.
